(0:26) Life’s changin’ fast
in these times (where we at)/
but even though we breathe it in, time is a mask./
The tides will react, as they rise and retract,
but our minds can, in fact, see more than our eyes ever can.//
There’s a sign in the sand,//
written by the tyrants a’ man,//
but we can be the gust that’ll silence their hands./
We can be the thrust- for knowledge to advance,
if we trust in the hallowed rhythms of the truest dance.
And if we can’t,/ then our efforts only dust in the wind, without a chance
to be the change we need to see the best that we can manifest./
Reach for the Plan!
There’s more to this than just our swords and fists; (and) there’s more than just a stance.
There’s a fortified immortal cry coursin’ through the sky.
There’s an order to the chaos, there’s a torch and there’s a fire.
We can find the guidance that’s beyond what I describe./
We can fan the flame, and watch the hues strike the clouds, like a new sunrise./
Ain’t no need for feuds, when the views so wide.
It’s a beautiful struggle if pursued with a humble mode of learnin’ in the mind./

But there’s certitude required if the fruits of our labors will produce what we’re aimin’… and we’re aimin’ for the skies./
Yeah, we’re prayin’ for the youth to arise- and unloosen all these binds- that been tied around our time- like a noose that’s crucified- the potential of so many lives./

And no matter how they tryin’, ain’t no way we goin’ back.
You and I will see to that- if our words and actions match,
and if we’ve learned to listen to the wisdom that’s emerged from out the past./
<2:06-2:18>It’s our turn to learn the facts,
cuz if history is twisted, how we learn from that?
If it’s crafted as a mask, how we ever gonna see and face the past?
It’s our duty to improve, but how without first seein’ truth unencumbered by the fallacies <2:18>, the falsities, the galaxies of lies been weaved- to cover up and silence actual reality.
Yeah, the malice runs deep, so deep that it’s hard to even breathe./
And I’m just seein’ surface scars, but there’s more to the heart of this disease.
As hard as it is not to scream, I breath it in and try to reason with the beast that feasts on even those I thought awoke to the needs of the season… but nope.
Growth eludes most it seems, but I hold to hope/
and seek to find the means to plant a seed to nurture peace and justice deep inside the belly of this beast.
So I strive to both learn and teach,
as I must if I’m to be who I’m meant to be… a member of humanity.

So let’s craft up a goal to surpass what we’ve known.
